Compote with quince and cinnamon

Take 300 gr of dried fruits and one fruit of quince. Cut quince by bits. Wash dried fruits thoroughly.  Put all into big pot and fill with five litres of water. Put pot on the stove and wait for compote will begun boil. Then immediately take compote off. It is no need to boil it long time. Then add sugar by taste. I never put sugar because dried fruits enough sweet. When pot is taken off from stove add into it a little piece of cinnamon (cinnamon stick about five cm long). Covered pot leave for it gets cold. Compote infuses and gets aroma during that time.
